Green Roots Initiative
Free digital skills training for every person — kids, teens, adults, and seniors — plus hands-on work to save nature and plant trees. Because a better future needs both.
Because nature needs saving — and digital skills belong to everyone.
We started Green Roots with a simple idea: the planet is in trouble, and most people don't have the tools — digital or otherwise — to help. So we decided to give both away, for free.
We teach digital skills — coding, using computers, understanding AI, building websites — to anyone, regardless of age. A 10-year-old curious about games. A 45-year-old changing careers. A 72-year-old who wants to video-call the grandkids. Everyone is welcome.
And we work together to save nature: planting trees, cleaning local spaces, protecting ecosystems. No sales pitch. No upsell. Just good things, shared openly.
Two missions. All free.
Every workshop, every guide, every session — free. We run these because we believe they matter, not because they make us money.
Digital Skills for Every Age
We teach real digital skills — coding, using computers, understanding the internet, building websites, working with AI — to anyone, regardless of age. No prerequisites. No judgment. Just patient, practical teaching.
- ✓ Kids (8-12): Intro to coding with Scratch & Python games
- ✓ Teens (13-18): Web development, app building, AI basics
- ✓ Adults: Career-changing tech skills, from zero to job-ready
- ✓ Seniors (60+): Computers, smartphones, video calls, staying safe online
Saving Nature
The planet needs us. We organize hands-on work to protect and restore nature in our communities — planting trees, cleaning rivers, protecting local wildlife, and teaching others how to do the same.
- ✓ Community tree-planting days (tools & saplings provided)
- ✓ River, beach, and park clean-up events
- ✓ Native species restoration projects
- ✓ Workshops on how to care for young trees
- ✓ Local wildlife protection volunteering
